Create ogg file with Audacity and oggdropXPd
In this entry it is shown how to export a file in the wav format, and how to convert it into the ogg format. First, you create the wav file with Audacity. In the second step, you convert it with oggdropXPd.
Create WAV with Audacity

Double-click Audacity shortcutDouble-click the Audacity shortcut located on the Windows XP desktop. In the example, the program itself is located in the encrypted TrueCrypt volume Z:.

Press the record buttonPress the record button.

Speak into the microphoneSpeak some words into your headset’s microphone.

Press the stop buttonPress the stop button.

Export As WAVGo to the menu file and select “Export As WAV”.

Enter Example.wavEnter the file name “Example.wav”.
Press the Save button.
Convert WAV into OGG with oggdropXPd

Start oggdropXPd.exe Double-click the oggdropXPd.exe shortcut located on the Windows XP desktop.

Drag and drop Example.wav Drag and drop the file Example.wav into the area of oggdropXPd.

oggdropXPd converts into Example.ogg The program oggdropXPd converts the file into Example.ogg. You may try different bit rates.
